Rickard Open-back
The Rickard Open-back is built in the traditional style but has a few addtions to make if a real eye catcher. Notice the richness of the rosewood rim overlay with a botton accent of figured maple. The maple on the rim is complimented by the same maple used for the neck binding. Just below the neck binding is a layer of rosewood to compliment the rim. The heel is capped with ebony that ties into the black strip that forms the center of the laminated, figured maple neck. An ebony peghead veneer and fretboard look after the topside of the neck. The icing on the cake is the generous use of mother-of-pearl inlays that serve both as position markers and adornments - tastefully done and not overpowering. Other Features . . . - Grover tuning pegs and 5th peg. - No-Knot tailpiece. - Bone nut. - Nickel plated hardware. - Custom built to the purchaser's requirements. Price
