Vega Style Bracket Band

This bracket band is a replica of an original with dimensions taken from one of my own instruments. I have gone to great lengths to ensure that it will fit onto any original Vega rim. Even the brass screws have the same dimension as the originals. I designed and had a special machine built that will index, drill and counterbore the holes for the screws.

Features . . .

- ring is made of solid brass 0.125" thick.

- nickel plated (can be supplied in raw brass if is to be engraved prior to plating).

- available in standard bracket shoe counts and spacing - 11" X 24 shoes, 12" X 26 shoes (others are available).

- shipped completely assembled.

- hole has been drilled for dowel stick end-bolt.

Installation Tip . . .

We fit a lot of these bracket bands to rims (that I can supply to you) for our customers. The process can be and you need to be very familiar with precision measuring and lathe procedures so I recommend that you have Hugh do it for you in my shop (contact me for a quote). However, if you want to do it yourself then I will include some printed tips with the part when it is shipped.
